Starting prices cover a typical small to mid-sized site. These are the factors that can change the final quote:

  • Size and complexity: page count, catalogue size and number of templates.
  • Platform access: whether I can implement directly or need to brief developers.
  • Competition: how established the sites you are competing with are.
  • Content needs: how many pages need writing or rewriting.
  • Urgency: migrations and recoveries with fixed deadlines.

How did you set these prices?

Each starting price is about 20% below published 2026 benchmarks for freelance SEO and web development, such as the Ahrefs SEO pricing survey for retainers and hourly rates and freelance website-build cost data. Working remotely without agency overheads lets me keep prices lower without cutting the work.

Is the starting price what I will pay?

For most small and mid-sized sites, yes. Very large catalogues, multi-country sites or urgent migrations can cost more. You always get a written quote with the scope before work begins.

Do you require a long-term contract?

No. Audits and website builds are one-off projects. Monthly SEO runs on a rolling basis after an initial period agreed in the proposal, because SEO needs a few months before results can be judged fairly.

How do payments work?

Payment terms and milestones are set out in each written quote. If you prefer the contract and payment protection of Upwork, we can work through Upwork instead.

Is the free SEO audit really free?

Yes. It is a manual review of your site's main issues with no obligation. It is shorter than the paid audit but gives you a clear view of what is holding the site back.
